RPC Recycle specialise in buying your old mobile phones, either by recycling them or refurbishing them. RPC Recycles purpose is to help people get rid of their unwanted mobiles, and get some cash in return. RPC Recycle also have a charity and schools scheme, where they encourage charities, parents, teachers and even children to recycle their old mobiles in return for funds for school equipment and funds to help people who need it.
When RPC Recycle receives a mobile phone, they get one of their engineers to test the mobile to see if it can be refurbished, and used again by someone else. If it cannot be reused, they then break it down and recycle it. However most of the mobiles they do receive do get reused, and are refurbished in-house. They are then sent around the UK and worldwide to help improve communications.
Although not all mobiles can be refurbished, the rest are then carefully broken down and recycled. This is all done in accordance to the WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) directive, which means that all the materials are reused wherever possible.
If you would like to sell your mobile with RPC Recycle, it can be done in a few simple steps. Firstly select the mobile you have on their website, and find out how much money you will get for your old mobile. When you find out how much you will get for it, if you are happy with this offer, you can accept it and will then be sent a free post envelope or a Recorded Delivery bag.
Pop your mobile into the envelope and send it back to them. They will then check the mobile, and if it is in working order, then they will send you your money within 48 hours via BACS, PayPal or by cheque.
